On June 11,2021, I will embark on an adventure of a lifetime to help celebrate and honor the life of my dear friend Grace Ragland who lived with MS most her life and passed away in January 2020 to cancer. Grace was an avid mountain biker with years of racing experience all over the world. Amazingly positive and tough, She always said, "to finish is to win".  In 2018 Grace completed what is considered one of the world's most difficult bike packing off road races. The route for this race runs 2750 miles from Banff, Canada to Antelope Wells, NM on the border of Mexico. She completed this race while not knowing she would receive a formal diagnosis of stage 4 cancer after her completion of this route. She was tough, strong willed and determined. I will be completing this route/race in honor of her life beginning on June 11 of this year in a Grand Depart with others who will also be completing the border-to-border ride as well. This border-to-border ride will be minus the 260-mile section from Banff to border of Montana due to Covid/quarantine restrictions going over border to Canada making it difficult to complete from the increase in time needed to quarantine once in Canada. This route, border to border, is the original "Great Divide Mountain Bike Race" or "GDMBR" I will be raising money with this ride for the Tanner Foundation for MS in her honor.  Please consider giving to this great cause!

Here is the link to follow me on my journey. I will be wearing a GPS system called a SPOT tracker that tracks my location and is updated at regular intervals. On June 11 on the day of the departure, you can click on this website and it will give you a list of races. Click the Border-to-Border Great Divide Mountain Bike Race and look for my bubble with the initials "AT"! Follow me and root me on to help me make the 2500 miles to the finish!

**If I am unable to complete the race for any unforeseen reason, then you can choose to go ahead with full amount of the donation per mile or choose to make a general donation at that time instead. I will reach out to you in the event that occurs. **
